CooperVision Names Muru Annamalai as President, Asia-Pacific

CooperVision has appointed Muru Annamalai as President of Asia-Pacific, effective June 1, 2026. Annamalai brings over 20 years of global leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, with a focus on commercial organization and growth across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and other global markets. His appointment is part of CooperVision's broader strategy to guide its next growth phase in a critical region.

Throughout his career, Annamalai has successfully built high-performing teams and expanded business operations in both emerging and established markets. He has held senior leadership roles at AbbVie and Abbott, and most recently served as a Vice President with TCA Venture Group, engaging with the venture and investment community to support innovation and growth initiatives in healthcare.
