MARSTEK stellt die neue VENUS-Familie vor und erweitert Plug-in-Batterien in eine neue Ära der Heim-Energiespeicherung

May 31, 2026

MARSTEK, a leading global brand in plug-in batteries, hosted over 100 distributors, partners, media representatives, and industry experts from across Europe in Shenzhen for the grand opening of its new headquarters and the launch of the new VENUS plug-in battery family.

The event marked a significant milestone for MARSTEK as the company accelerates the development of plug-in energy storage solutions for European households. Guests toured the company’s battery R&D lab, reliability testing lab, and automated production lines, including the VENUS E Gen 3.0 production line, inverter manufacturing, and residential ESS systems. Attendees gained insights into MARSTEK's innovation capabilities, quality control systems, and vertically integrated manufacturing capacities.

During the launch event, MARSTEK officially introduced the new VENUS family — VENUS E Mini, VENUS E GEN 4.0, and VENUS E MAX — expanding its plug-in battery concept from compact balcony solutions to comprehensive backup and EV charging applications for the entire home.

The VENUS E Mini is noted as the world’s thinnest plug-in battery, designed for entry-level users and small living spaces. It offers 1.5 kW bidirectional power and backup output, peaking at 1.8 kW for reliable daily energy supply. With MARSTEK AI featuring intelligent energy forecasting and TOU management, it allows for optimized power usage. Its ultra-slim, wall-mounted design and lightweight of just 22 kg facilitate space-saving and flexible installation in modern homes.

The VENUS E GEN 4.0 is an enhanced AC-coupled plug-in battery for households with existing solar systems, supporting whole-home backup and smart EV charging. It delivers 3 kW charge and discharge power with a capacity of 5 kWh, ensuring stable and reliable energy supply. Compared to its predecessor, it features a design that is 21% lighter, 7% smaller, and includes an improved segment display. Equipped with durable 314Ah cells and over 10,000 charge cycles, this system guarantees long-term reliability and can be expanded to up to 9 kW / 15 kWh within minutes through the SmartBox parallel architecture.

The VENUS E MAX, designed for households with higher energy needs and existing PV roof systems, provides a robust and intelligent energy storage solution. It offers 3.6 kW of bidirectional grid and backup power along with 10 kWh high capacity for reliable supply, increased self-consumption rates, and greater energy independence. The SmartBox parallel architecture supports up to three units in single and three-phase operation, allowing scalable expansion to 10.8 kW / 30 kWh in minutes and seamless integration with MARSTEK portable EV chargers. It is built with safe 314Ah LFP cells and over 10,000 charge cycles, ensuring stable operation for the long term.

Founded in 2009, MARSTEK is a leading global brand in the energy storage sector with vertically integrated capabilities in research and development, manufacturing, and global sales. The company's portfolio includes residential ESS, plug-in batteries, portable power stations, power banks, and rechargeable batteries, aiming to make smart and affordable energy accessible for every household.
