The global payout platform Trolley has integrated Thunes' Direct Global Network to enhance its international payout capabilities for businesses. Headquartered in Canada, Trolley enables its clients to make instant payments to international workers via local wallets and bank accounts.

With Thunes' Direct Global Network, Trolley's business customers, which include platforms, publishers, distributors, and other internet economy enterprises, can now access a broader range of destinations and local payment methods. Trolley supports various industry leaders, including SoundCloud, Canva, Epic Games, Nexus, and Airtasker, in facilitating fast and compliant payouts to global recipients.

Thunes' network provides connectivity to 12 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts across 140 countries in 90 currencies. By integrating with the network, Trolley is able to offer more than 220 distinct local payment methods, simplifying the payment process for its customers.

This collaboration allows Trolley's customers to manage payouts efficiently without dealing with complex regional setups, especially significant in regions such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where mobile wallets and real-time payment schemes are prevalent. The integration addresses the 'last-mile' payment challenge, facilitating instant payouts to mobile wallets, which is crucial for retaining gig workers and freelancers, as 90% of whom prioritize quick access to their earnings.

Kyle Rosen, Head of North America at Thunes, stated that businesses need to offer localized payment options to attract a global workforce. In support, Tim Nixon, Founder and CEO of Trolley, emphasized that the integration provides unparalleled access to local payment solutions, improving support for gig workers and creators.
