DEEPX Announces Global Physical AI Mass Production Partnership with AAEON at COMPUTEX 2026

June 2, 2026

DEEPX Inc., a company specializing in ultra-low-power Physical AI semiconductors, has formed a strategic three-year Global Mass Production Cooperation agreement with AAEON Technology Inc., known for its advanced industrial computing platforms. The announcement was made during COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2026, where both companies' CEOs signed the agreement.

This partnership aims to integrate DEEPX's high-performance Neural Processing Units (NPUs) into AAEON's flagship products, which include industrial computers (IPCs), Single Board Computers (SBCs), and edge gateways. The focus will be on transitioning beyond technical validation to scale hardware into mass-producible products.

As part of the agreement, the companies plan to manufacture standard form factor AI accelerator modules, such as M.2, mPCIe, PCIe cards, and COM Express boards, along with tailored OEM/ODM edge AI products. DEEPX will provide its AI chipsets, dedicated compilers, and the DXNN SDK, while AAEON will oversee hardware design and specification matching for various sectors, including smart factories and edge security.

The collaboration builds on the companies' previous success, as initial global pre-orders for platforms combining AAEON hardware and DEEPX semiconductors surged following certification in December 2025. Feedback from major global customers has confirmed high power-to-performance ratios, paving the way for large-scale production.

DEEPX's ecosystem has also seen rapid growth, increasing from 15 partners in 2025 to over 30 in 2026. The partnership with AAEON is expected to leverage both companies' distribution networks and target market expansion at events such as CES and Embedded World.

Comments from the CEOs highlight the significance of this agreement. Lokwon Kim of DEEPX stated that AAEON's robust hardware platform, combined with ASUS Group's distribution network, allows for the deployment of intelligent edge devices crucial to the industrial market. Howard Lin of AAEON emphasized the balanced architecture of DEEPX's NPUs, which positions their partnership well for delivering effective edge AI solutions across industrial applications.
