iRely Launches Terminal Management Module to Modernize Pipeline and Fuel Distribution Operations

June 4, 2026

iRely has introduced a new Terminal Management module within its i21 ERP platform, designed to provide end-to-end automation for pipeline terminal operators and fuel distributors. This fully integrated solution aims to streamline operations from bill of lading import to motor fuel tax compliance and commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) integration.

The introduction of the Terminal Management module addresses challenges faced by terminal operators, including low profit margins, increasing regulatory oversight, and fragmented technology systems. By automating processes such as bill of lading re-entry and tax calculations, the module seeks to unify operations, logistics, pricing, compliance, and risk management.

"Pipeline operations are among the most complex workflows in downstream petroleum," said a company representative. "Our Terminal Management module gives operators one system, one solution to manage all aspects of their operations."

The module features direct integration with Transport4 for real-time visibility of batch movements, automated import of bills of lading from DTN to reduce manual entry errors, and automated calculations for state and federal motor fuel taxes. It also supports multiple terminals and tenancy arrangements, ensuring comprehensive operational capabilities.

Looking ahead, iRely plans to enhance the Terminal Management module with additional features, including improved integration with other providers and expanded solutions for fuel logistics. The company, based in Dallas, Texas, has nearly 40 years of experience in providing software solutions for various industries, with a customer base exceeding 500 in over 25 countries.
