FREEGAME LAUNCHES FREEGAME DIAMOND, EXPANDING INTO BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL THROUGH MERGER WITH PREP

The merger between FreeGame and Prep combines FreeGame's full-service athlete platform with Prep's expertise in diamond sports representation, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), brand partnerships, and athlete education.

FreeGame, a multi-vertical athlete management and brand partnership platform, has announced the launch of FreeGame Diamond, a new vertical dedicated to baseball and softball athletes. This new division will integrate FreeGame's comprehensive infrastructure with Prep, the athlete representation and education company founded by Aidan Byrne and Paige Byrne. Prep's operations, athlete relationships, brand pipeline, and proprietary curriculum will now operate under FreeGame.

FreeGame Diamond aims to serve baseball and softball athletes at all levels, from college to professional careers. The initiative combines FreeGame's extensive platform, which includes representation, ventures, brand partnerships, content production, NIL compliance, and operational support, with Prep's established connections in diamond sports.

Aidan Byrne, Head of Vertical for FreeGame Diamond, noted, "We started with a workshop and a whiteboard. Four years later, we had a curriculum, a roster, and partnerships with D1 programs across the country, all because we kept asking athletes what they actually needed and refused to stop listening." Paige Byrne, Head of Softball for FreeGame Diamond, emphasized the current momentum in women's softball, stating, "Companies are investing in women's sports at a level we have not seen before, and the growth of professional softball proves the market is catching up to what we already knew: these athletes are worth the investment."

FreeGame Diamond is launching with an established operational foundation that includes a signed athlete roster, active pipelines in baseball and softball, brand and sponsorship relationships, and educational resources aimed at supporting athletes' careers both on and off the field. The leadership team consists of Aidan Byrne, who has built athlete representation and education strategies, and Paige Byrne, a recognized figure in the softball community known for her work in athlete branding and NIL activations.
