Bullen Ultrasonics Named Finalist for 2026 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards for Advanced Manufacturing Excellence

Bullen Ultrasonics has announced that its Miller Williams Facility in Eaton, Ohio, has been named one of six finalists for the 2026 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards. The facility specializes in precision machining of advanced ceramics, glass, and specialty materials utilizing proprietary ultrasonic and laser-based technologies.

This recognition occurs at a time when advanced materials are increasingly important in critical industries, including semiconductors, MEMS, aerospace, and defense. These sectors often require parts made from extremely hard and brittle materials, which present challenges in machining without issues such as cracking or chipping.

The Miller Williams Facility, which opened in 2006, has advanced its manufacturing capabilities to keep pace with rising demand for advanced materials machining, increasing revenue by 250% over the past decade. The facility is focusing on maintaining high customer yield levels, reducing production cycle times, and investing in workforce development to bolster its advanced manufacturing capabilities.
