Beyond EVs, VinFast Builds a Technology Ecosystem for the Future of Global Mobility

VinFast is expanding its presence across Europe, aiming to establish itself as more than just a new electric vehicle manufacturer. The Vietnamese company is developing a technology-driven ecosystem that supports its electric vehicle range, focusing on smart mobility and sustainable innovation, which is gaining traction among European consumers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Recently, VinFast and Autobrains announced a strategic collaboration aimed at a level 4 autonomous driving program for Southeast Asia, built on NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion. This partnership represents a significant step in VinFast's roadmap to make advanced autonomous driving technology more accessible and practical in the complex traffic environments of the region.

The level 4 platform, initially being developed for Southeast Asia, leverages NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion 10 and Autobrains' Agentic AI software for autonomous driving. This area presents a demanding validation environment due to its dense traffic and diverse road behaviors. The collaboration aims to reduce costs and enhance deployment efficiency by minimizing the integration work that traditionally adds years to autonomous vehicle programs.

Prof.-Dr. Duong Nguyen, Deputy CEO of ADAS at VinFast Global, emphasized the company's commitment to making advanced mobility more accessible through partnerships with global technology leaders. He stated, "Advanced mobility shouldn't be a luxury," highlighting the goal of achieving practical and cost-efficient level 4 mobility solutions in Southeast Asia's dynamic traffic conditions.

Additionally, VinFast is actively investing in technology and expanding its product offerings, which currently include the VF 6 compact SUV and the VF 8 D-segment SUV. These models are designed to cater to urban and family-oriented drivers. The company is also enhancing its sales and after-sales network across key European markets to provide better customer support and servicing options.

As VinFast continues to extend its footprint in European markets, the integration of advanced vehicle technologies, an expanding product lineup, and improved customer support underscores its ambition to become a globally competitive mobility company that meets the evolving expectations of drivers worldwide.
