Faith Investor Services Launches Arimathea Catholic Core Bond ETF
Faith Investor Services, LLC has announced the launch of the Arimathea Catholic Core Bond ETF, expanding its faith-based ETF platform to a total of six funds. This new ETF is designed to provide Catholic investors with a core bond holding that aligns with their faith and fixed income investment objectives.
The Arimathea Catholic Core Bond ETF, which trades under the ticker SHRD on NYSE Arca, joins five other funds already offered by FIS. The other funds include the FIS Christian Stock Fund (ticker: PRAY), FIS Tactical Equity ETF (ticker: ACTS), FIS Bright Portfolios Focused Equity ETF (ticker: BRIF), FIS Bright Portfolios Core Bond ETF (ticker: BRIB), and the FIS Faith Income ETF (ticker: FTHB).
Steve Nelson, Chairman & CEO of Faith Investor Services, stated, “Whether in ETFs or through serving people in a wealth management role, we seek performance in a faithful manner. This new fund launch expands FIS' offerings focused on Catholic investors and brings a core bond ETF to meet the fixed income objectives for those who seek it.”
FIS aims to direct its net equity to endow the church, influenced by the Generous Giving™ movement. As demand for values-aligned investment strategies increases, the firm plans to further expand its ETF platform in the coming years.
Arimathea Investing, which partnered with FIS for this ETF, focuses on helping investors align their capital with Catholic moral and social teachings. The firm's name and the ticker SHRD honor St. Joseph of Arimathea, who cared for Christ after the Crucifixion, highlighting the belief that financial stewardship entails moral responsibility.
